A prominent NHS Trust in Liverpool is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Diabetes and Endocrine Ward. You will provide direct patient care, manage various nursing tasks, and contribute to team healthcare delivery. The role includes opportunities for further specialization and development post preceptorship. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to patient safety.
Ward 8C is a 28 bedded Diabetes and Endocrine Ward with a general medicine bed base. As a registered Nurse you’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing direct patient care. You could support people with learning disabilities, provide end of life care, or contribute to saving lives on Ward 8C. There is opportunity to specialise in areas of nursing or undertake postgraduate study to become a more senior nurse, such as a ward manager, sister or matron. Following successful completion of preceptorship (newly qualified) or SPN period (if you have previous Band 5 experience), you will be required to take charge of an area for a span of duty.
The post holder will always work within the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
