A leading healthcare provider in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a dedicated Urology Nurse Practitioner to join their urological nursing team. The successful candidate will embrace a rich learning opportunity, manage patient care, and provide a high standard of clinical nursing. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing care programmes, and leading ward operations. This role offers ample professional development and an inclusive work environment. This new innovation is born out of a vision to create a sustainable future for the urological specialist nursing team; it intends to turn a novice into an expert urological nurse.
The successful candidate will rotate through all aspects of urological nursing, embracing a rich learning opportunity. They will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care programmes, and implementing and evaluating care plans.
All employees will take part in the appraisal process each year, with the first appraisal occurring within the first six months of appointment.
