Are you a caring and compassionate Registered Nurse looking to work in an outstanding rated Trust? Shaston ward, based at Westminster Memorial Hospital, Shaftesbury are looking for either an experienced or newly qualified Staff Nurse to join our supportive team.
As a Staff Nurse you will be working alongside a multi‑disciplinary team in a 15‑bedded ward that provides sub‑acute medical care, rehabilitation, and Palliative / End of Life care for the local and wider community. Our Elderly Rehabilitation and End of Life Care unit achieved a nationally recognised accreditation in the Gold Standard Framework award for end‑of‑life care. Our team is a close‑knit community, and we pride ourselves on always going the extra mile.

The Staff Nurse post is a full‑time role, but we are flexible and accept part‑time applications with a minimum of 15 hours.
You will need enthusiasm and a commitment to provide the highest standards of care to patients, relatives, and carers, and the ability to provide professional clinical leadership. You will need to have an interest in working with older people and possess good communication and organisational skills.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service can present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
