Our client is hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead large commercial and industrial electrical projects across Colorado. This is a high-impact role responsible for end-to-end project delivery—planning, scheduling, budgeting, quality, safety, and team leadership—while building strong relationships with clients and partners.

What you’ll do

  • Project Planning & Execution
    • Develop comprehensive project plans with clear scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
    • Allocate resources (people, materials, equipment) and manage subcontractors.
    • Assign tasks, set expectations, and guide teams to meet milestones.
    • Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and adjust plans to minimize disruptions.
  • Quality & Schedule Control
    • Implement rigorous quality control standards; conduct regular inspections.
    • Lead status meetings, track progress, and keep projects on schedule.
    • Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Budget & Contract Management
    • Own project financials: forecasting, cost control, and risk mitigation.
    • Review and negotiate client contracts (T&Cs, dates, scope/services).
    • Optimize utilization of labor, materials, and equipment.
    • Quantify and communicate cost/schedule impacts from design or scope changes.
  • Team Leadership & Client Relations
    • Lead and mentor project managers; foster a culture of safety, quality, and collaboration.
    • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders; ensure exceptional service and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Industry Presence
    • Serve as a brand ambassador in the electrical contracting sector.
    • Cultivate relationships with clients, vendors, and partners with the highest integrity.

Your background

  • 10+ years of industrial and/or commercial electrical project management experience (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience/training (preferred).
  • Proven success managing large-scale construction projects across multiple sectors.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, and Accubid.
  • Strong understanding of large-scale electrical construction and safety standards.
  • Ability to build market awareness and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Location

  • Colorado-based role with projects throughout the state.

Compensation

  • $140k to $150k with vehicle allowance and fuel card.
