A leading education recruitment agency is seeking a KS3/KS4 School Sports Coach to support students in Salford. This role involves mentoring children, providing support for those with SEND, and helping with curriculum delivery using sports. Role Overview

Pay Rate: £95+ (dependent on experience)
Location: Salford
Position: KS3/KS4 School Sports Coach (Sport's TA)
Contract Type: Full time / Day to Day / Long term
Start Date: January, or sooner (subject to safer recruitment checks)

Responsibilities
  • Be a role model, mentor and daily support to the child/ren you will be working with.
  • Support students with SEND to overcome social and academic barriers.
  • Support the class teacher in delivery of the curriculum.
  • Make reasonable adjustments to ensure students thrive in the setting.
  • Provide 1:1 or group support to identified students, using sports to remove barriers to learning.
  • Have a passion for sports/fitness.
  • Have experience/qualifications of coaching children and young people.

  • Currently recruiting additional staff in schools in Salford and the surrounding areas.
  • Predominantly mainstream secondary schools, but roles available in other settings for the right candidate.
