Overview

Industry-leading, global international B2B events company is looking to hire a highly driven Business Development Manager to sell sponsorship across their flagship B2B events. The successful candidate will sell bespoke sponsorship packages, digital advertising and rich content offerings to C-suite executives globally, with international travel possible several times a year. This role demands an articulate, sales-driven individual who builds relationships and closes high-value deals.

Responsibilities
  • Generate new business, increase pipeline and bring in new prospects.
  • Sell high-value sponsorship and digital packages.
  • Manage key accounts and grow relationships with tailored marketing activities using a consultative approach to increase year-on-year spend.
  • Pitch clients over the phone and in person; attend competitor events.
  • Act as a market specialist using internal and external resources.
  • Utilise consultative, solution-led selling to close deals.
Profile of Candidate
  • 3 years in b2b sales, ideally in sponsorship, ad sales, IT sales, recruitment or event sales.
  • Fluent in German.
  • Degree educated (ideally).
  • Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of achieving revenue targets.
  • Consultative sales approach.
