The Manager, Sponsorship Marketing Operations will contribute operationally to drive revenue to the Salesforce Marketing organization through strategic sponsorships between Salesforce and ecosystem partners. Sponsorships will run across the Salesforce marketing portfolio of offerings, including but not limited to in person and digital events, content, media and more. This position provides valuable operational coordination and execution and works closely with internal and external stakeholders, sponsors, and third‑party agencies to create, support, and execute world‑class sponsorships that will further position Salesforce as a leader in the industry.
The Sponsorship Marketing Manager will lead specific in‑person events, support program needs, and own operational tasks and programs for the sponsorship marketing team. The successful candidate will work with internal and external teams to create and scale processes that optimize the sponsorship effort globally ensuring an outstanding sponsor and stakeholder experience. This role is the first impression of the sponsorship team, a critical position, and to thrive one must have passion and expertise in project management and a deep interest in doing everything possible to ensure sponsors are wildly successful.
The Sponsorship Marketing Manager must be a master at critical thinking, an exceptional communicator (verbal and written), detail‑obsessed, have the confidence to be resourceful on a daily basis, able to prioritize shifting tasks as needed, and the can‑do spirit to repeatedly strategize and execute flawlessly. This role is on a team that is dedicated to sponsor success, is fast‑paced, and entrepreneurial in an always challenging environment.
