Applicants are invited to apply for a Specialty Doctor in Emergency Medicine post. The post will be Emergency Medicine clinical care, allowing an opportunity for doctors wanting to gain experience and responsibility in not just managing patients but managing a busy department (at Registrar level).

We are a busy District General Hospital Emergency Department that sees a wide variety of presentations (in both adult and paediatric). We deal with medical, surgical, orthopaedic, paediatric and trauma patients. These patients can present and be assessed in resus, majors, minors or paediatric ED.
40% of the time will be spent undertaking departmental innovation/quality improvement projects. The ideal candidate will be a doctor who wishes to take time to do more leadership, education and innovation. You may wish to discover your leadership, management and influencing skills. You may have a passion to enhance your medico–associated skills such as development of new pathways, finding solutions to problems or systems design. You will be dynamic, self-driven and able to manage your time.
