We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Specialty Doctor for our substance misuse treatment service in Nottinghamshire. As a Specialty Doctor you will work under the Consultant Psychiatrist for the service, collaborating with a multi‑disciplinary team to provide holistic care for clients from both services.

Our team in Nottingham is a vibrant and diverse assembly of seasoned service managers, expert consultant psychiatrists, dedicated doctors, nurturing nurses, efficient healthcare assistants, compassionate recovery staff, committed volunteers, effective administrators and enthusiastic peer mentors. Together we are wholeheartedly devoted to delivering comprehensive support and medical care to individuals accessing our services.

Full‑time 37.5 hrs per week

Salary

£90,317.14 – £101,316.49 dependent on experience (full‑time).

For part‑time roles the salary is pro‑rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the delivery of high‑quality services in adherence to best‑practice guidelines and professional standards.
  • Ensure service users consistently receive excellent care.
  • Contribute to the overall performance of the service to achieve contractual output targets.
  • Record and input client data and information to meet contractual administrative and financial requirements.
Requirements
  • Recovery‑focused approach to treatment.
  • Flexibility to work across operational sites as needed, including evenings and weekends based on service‑user needs.

Qualifications
