Degree, HND/HNC or equivalent experience in a STEM discipline
Please be aware that many roles at BAE Systems are subject to both security and export control restrictions. Current focusses on advancing platform computing solutions has generated the requirement for experienced engineers to join the FCAS Platform Compute Team, enabling delivery of early life system design concepts and principles that feed directly into FCAS. The roles available includes interfacing into other parts of the FCAS national and international organisation as a recognised holder of a wide range of knowledge in specialised areas of interest, including systems architecting/concepting, MBSE, cryptography, cyber and secure networking. Within this role you will lead a team of engineers in activities that support the development and delivery of FCAS computing solutions, primarily focussed on solutions that are associated with Product Safety / Security / Cyber Engineering as well as product/programme integration and management of enablers (facilities, toolsets, etc) these activities require. The role includes interfacing into other parts of the FCAS national and international organisation as a recognised holder of a wide range of knowledge in specialised areas of interes and / or senior programme delivery experience in national and international programmes. The roles include working with other specialists within the team, nationally and internationally in areas such as systems architecting/concepting, MBSE, cryptography, CEH, cyber and secure networking.
