A leading education and support service provider in Liverpool is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant / Support Worker to support young people with complex needs. In this role, you will provide one-on-one assistance, assist with personal care, and help develop tailored learning programmes. Ideal candidates should be patient and compassionate, with experience or interest in working with vulnerable populations. The position offers term-time hours, ongoing training, and opportunities for career development, ensuring a meaningful impact on students' lives.
Location: North Liverpool
Contract: Term-time only, full-time or part-time
Role: SEND Teaching Assistant / Support Worker (Specialist Needs)
Salary: 90- 105 per day PAYE
This is a specialist secondary SEND provision supporting young people (11-19) with complex needs - including severe learning difficulties, physical disabilities, autism spectrum conditions, and associated medical and behavioural challenges. Pupils follow highly individualised pathways and benefit from a nurturing, skilled and supportive environment.
We're seeking caring, dedicated individuals - ideally with backgrounds in care, health or support work - who understand the demands and rewards of working with children or young people with complex needs.
No formal teaching qualifications required - what matters most is empathy, respect, patience, and the ability to follow care plans.
