A healthcare provider in Scotland is looking for a B6 Physiotherapist to join the Major Trauma Service at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. In this role, you will provide expert clinical care to major trauma patients, lead rotational physiotherapists, and implement service changes. The position requires a BSc/Diploma in physiotherapy, registration with HCPC, and significant postgraduate experience. You must also have excellent communication and leadership skills. Seven-day working, including on-call duties, is required.
We are seeking a B6 Physiotherapist for the Major Trauma Service at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH) in Glasgow. The role is part of the Scottish Trauma Centre Network and focuses on ensuring innovative rehabilitation for major trauma patients.
The post holder will provide expert direct clinical care, including physiotherapy assessment, treatment and management of patients as part of the in‑patient service. The physiotherapist will be clinically responsible for rotational physiotherapists and support workers, and will lead service development and implement service changes.
Participation in the physiotherapy emergency on‑call and weekend rota will also be required.
The candidate must be educated to a BSc/Diploma in physiotherapy and registered with HCPC. Significant postgraduate experience, particularly in the treatment of major trauma patients, is essential. Excellent communication and leadership skills are expected.
Seven‑day working is required, including on‑call duties and weekend rota participation.
