A healthcare provider in Peterborough is looking for an enthusiastic Band 6 Physiotherapist to join its Integrated Stroke Early Supported Discharge & Community Neuro Rehabilitation Service. This role supports a diverse clinical caseload in a multi-disciplinary team, incorporating flexible work methods and requiring independent travel. Applicants must have a valid driving licence and the ability to manage a variety of rehabilitation needs in community settings. Recent experience in neuro physiotherapy is preferred.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Integrated Stroke Early Supported Discharge & Community Neuro Rehabilitation Service. The Integrated service provides both stroke rehabilitation and community neuro rehabilitation, supporting service users with a variety of complex needs. This is an opportunity to join an established multi-disciplinary team comprising Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists, Specialist Nurses, and Neuro Rehab assistants.
This role involves managing a clinical caseload across the North of Cambridgeshire. The base will be either Peterborough or Fenland, depending on location nearest to home. The role includes visiting patients in their homes, wards, or community gyms, with occasional requirement to provide clinical cover elsewhere within Cambridgeshire. The role requires agile working, often using virtual consultation to manage a caseload. We will provide a smartphone and laptop to support this role. You will provide comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence-based specialist neuro Physiotherapy programmes, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support patients with physical, cognitive and psychosocial needs to achieve their potential.
