Overview

Are you interested in joining a dynamic dietetic team? We are seeking a self-motivated Band 6 Rotational Dietitian to join our band 6 Rotational Programme. Two posts are available, with start dates as soon as possible. The post offers the opportunity to work within well-established multidisciplinary teams with inpatients and outpatients across clinical areas including Bariatrics, Intestinal Failure, Oncology & Haematology, Paediatrics, Metabolics, Critical Care, Neurology & Neuro Surgery, and Head & Neck Oncology.

Responsibilities
  • Clinically responsible for the nutritional care and management of patients and independently plan, organise and prioritise patient-related and professional demands daily.
  • Work well within teams and manage time effectively.
  • Maintain excellent communication and effective teamwork skills.
  • Act as a source of dietary expertise for colleagues and other healthcare professionals across the organisation.
  • Work as an integral part of the Dietetic Team to ensure the service is fully covered during periods of leave.
  • Contribute to the Trust Clinical Governance programme by participating in audits and the development and implementation of evidence-based guidelines, protocols and policies, and continuing professional development.
  • Having supervision skills will enable you to support the student training programme.
Qualifications
  • BSc Nutrition and Dietetics (or equivalent).
  • HCPC registered.
