We are looking for proactive clinical pharmacists to join our expanding dynamic and friendly pharmacy team. Working in a large teaching hospital like UHLG will provide you with a range of experiences and challenges that will enable you to be an excellent clinical pharmacist. The rotations are in many exciting areas including: Respiratory, Ophthalmology, Clinical trials, Medication Safety, Haematology, Medicines Information, Acute and Emergency Medicine and Cardiology.

Responsibilities
  • Along with relevant Advanced Clinical Pharmacists, provide a safe and effective specialist clinical pharmacy service to Royal Liverpool Hospitals within a designated speciality for an agreed duration.
  • Audit, monitor and develop medicines management within a designated speciality.
  • Provide training and routine supervision for rotational band 6 pharmacists providing pharmacy services to the designated speciality.
  • Assist the Assistant Clinical Director of Pharmacy, Clinical Services, in providing clinical training and supervision of other departmental staff.
Qualifications
  • Applicants must be pharmacists registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Have a postgraduate clinical diploma or equivalent experiential learning.
  • They should be self-motivated, organised, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
