A large teaching hospital in Oxford is seeking a Specialist Biomedical Scientist / Team Lead for its Cellular Pathology department. The role involves leading a histology section, ensuring quality control, and training staff. Candidates need to be HCPC registered and hold an IBMS Specialist Diploma in Cellular Pathology. This position is at the John Radcliffe Hospital, providing a chance to work in a supportive environment dedicated to delivering compassionate excellence in healthcare.
Due to an expansion in services, Cellular Pathology is looking for an additional Specialist Biomedical Scientist / Team Lead to join the team. As a large teaching hospital and secondary and tertiary referral centre we provide histopathology to a wide range of specialist services. The vacancy is in our main laboratory at the John Radcliffe Hospital. We are part of the South 4 Pathology Partnership operating a digital service with our partnership labs, are implementing a regional laboratory computer system and will be validating automated microtomy within the next couple of months.
