We are seeking a dedicated, motivated and experienced Special Sergeant or a Special Constable looking for promotion to provide frontline leadership within our Special Constabulary. This role supports community policing, supervises Special Constables on duty, looks after the welfare and growth of a team and plays a key part in delivering safe, effective and visible policing. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, operational experience and a commitment to serving the public.
The Competency Values Framework (CVF) provides clear expectations for everyone working in policing. It describes behaviours required by all officers and will be used in the recruitment process to assess suitability for the role. Detailed knowledge of the framework is not required, but familiarisation is encouraged.
This role operates at level 2 of the CVF.
