Role Overview

As a Special Projects Surveyor focused on Major Works, you will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and management of a variety of significant projects. Your expertise will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee major works projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conduct thorough feasibility studies and site assessments to inform project planning.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare detailed project budgets, timelines, and reports, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project life cycle.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to mitigate risks and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Provide expert advice on technical matters and project specifications, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Ensure that health, safety, and environmental considerations are integrated into all project activities.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional qualification (eg, MRICS or equivalent) is desirable.
  • Proven experience in managing major works projects, ideally within a similar role or industry.
