Dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) EHCP Specialist Blackpool & Fylde Coast

Are you ready to make a significant difference to the lives of primary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEND)? Are you available from January 2026?

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking passionate and adaptable Learning Support Assistants (LSA) to provide essential ad‑hoc and specialist support across our network of primary schools within the Blackpool and Fylde Coast area. This is a crucial, high‑impact role offering flexibility and a clear path for professional growth.

Role

You will be instrumental in ensuring students with an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) have the targeted support they need to succeed. Your daily focus will include:

  • Targeted Interventions: Delivering personalised academic and behavioural support to help students meet their learning objectives.
  • Emotional & Mental Health Support: Helping students with emotional regulation and promoting positive mental well‑being within the classroom.
  • Relationship Building: Establishing positive, trusting relationships with students, staff, and parents to create a supportive learning environment.

This position offers a unique chance to gain broad, diverse experience by working across various school settings (Primary and occasionally Secondary), expanding both your professional network and expertise.
