A leading dementia charity in the UK seeks a Special Events Manager for a 12-month home-based contract. This role involves the end-to-end management of high-value events that engage and inspire. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in event delivery, strong relationship-building skills, and a creative approach to audience engagement. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure events meet objectives while focusing on the charity's mission to support people affected by dementia.

We are recruiting for a Special Events Manager to join us on a fixed 12 month contract. This is a home-based role, though you will need to travel for events as required and be willing to travel to our flagship London office.
As the Special Events Manager you will lead the end-to-end delivery of a diverse portfolio of high value engagement and income-generating events – from intimate cultivation experiences to larger stewardship events. You will take ownership of all aspects of event logistics, ensuring exceptional attention to detail. Working closely with high value fundraisers across Corporate Partnerships, Philanthropy and Legacies, you will design events that inspire, engage and deepen long term relationships with major donors, corporate partners and representatives from trusts and foundations.
