Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm

Location: London borough of Newham

Pay: £90 – £105 per day

Benefits: Ongoing position, social, emotional & cognitive support for students with various SEMH-related needs

Day-to-day responsibilities
  • Support students in developing their social, emotional and cognitive skills.
  • Liaise with the class teacher, SENCO and wider community professionals (e.g. educational psychologist) to ensure students are on track.
  • Assist the team in creating a progressive and welcoming learning environment.
  • Work with students in various year groups with learning disabilities (Autism, ADHD) and mental health needs.
