Airbus is actively seeking a results-driven Workspace Project Management Lead to spearhead critical Space Management initiatives across our key Filton and Newport sites.

This is a pivotal role where you will own the delivery of high-impact projects from inception to successful completion ensuring the strategic and optimal utilisation of our office and technical spaces.

You will be the force behind delivering projects that not only meet stringent operational demands and achieve exceptional customer satisfaction but also strictly comply with all internal and external quality standards and regulations.

Security Clearance

Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance.

Travel Required

Frequent travel within UK (mainly between Newport and Filton) and occasional travel in the EU.

How You Will Contribute to the Team
  • Define, implement and drive a project team/organisation across all project phases navigating matrix organisational structures.
  • Achieve project objectives including time, scope, cost and quality to ensure complete customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead the management and coordination of Filton Office Space Refurbishment and Moves to meet the operational needs of various Airbus functions.
  • Ensure proactive and effective risk, opportunity and contract management (both internal and external) is embedded throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage and deliver the Space Management Budget Allocation including annual forecasting, bottom‑up analysis and monthly spend tracking.
About You
  • You have proven experience in defining, implementing and leading complex projects, preferably within Space Management (Facilities Management).
  • You are adept at managing partners and suppliers to ensure project delivery is seamless and meets the required standards.
  • You possess strong financial acumen for budget forecasting, tracking and managing the allocated spend for space management activities.
  • You are capable of maintaining and managing a security‑conscious database of space management records, drawings and CAD standards (AutoCAD/CAFM).
  • You are committed to ensuring effective integration of lessons learned to promote continuous improvement in project execution.
