Job summary: To target restaurants where we can have an impact by collaborating with other departments and internal data sources to complete a technical site survey, suggest a design restructure to the CAD Team and then implement and install Martin Brower\'s Space Planning And Capacity design solutions (shelving equipment) in restaurant chamber locations.

The role is field based and supports the delivery of the SPACE strategy and process. To drive profitability through cost effective and optimised SPACE solutions.

Major duties & responsibilities
  • Undertake chamber surveys that accurately reflect dimensions and configurations of restaurant back of house and storage spaces
  • Suggest design solutions to CAD Technicians in a detailed and clear manner and provide feedback to CAD when you have identified issues or discrepancies with layouts and plans
  • Travel between restaurants to complete site surveys and installations
  • Diaries installation workload for forward planning of equipment and fixture requirements. Ensuring a toolkit is well stocked
  • Install equipment as per CAD planograms, executing real time solutions when issues are identified
  • Relay chamber and stock rooms in accordance with design updates and customer quality requirements
  • Understand, record and report non-compliance and to work with restaurants on maintenance of space and merchandising standards
  • Train, explain and promote the mutual value of the SPACE process and solutions to the restaurant community
  • Optimise business costs and efficiencies with field based movements that are appropriate to the work required. Minimising duplicated visits and secondary activity through strong communication and proactive forward checks with the restaurants
  • Administration duties including storage area surveys being loaded onto the system, managing your own workload through Salesforce and ensuring installation sign off documentation and workload reporting is complete each week
  • Does include travel and staying away from home between Mon & Thurs
Qualifications

Essential knowledge, education, skills and experience

  • Experience in conducting detailed and documented site dimensional surveys across multiple sites and spaces
  • Experience of interpreting CAD plans and product planograms
  • Strong understanding of health and safety and safe working practices to ensure that everyone goes home safe
  • Hold, or have held, Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) green card
  • SEMA level training or experience of the installation of free-standing storage racking solutions and associated ancillary items
  • Proficient in the use of basic site tools and measuring equipment
  • Sound understanding of site working principles and relationships to ensure right first time delivery
