Qualifications

  • Experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef in a Rosette-level kitchen.
  • Confident, organised, and calm under pressure.
  • Passionate about seasonal, sustainable, and local produce.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Keen to contribute to a kitchen focused on quality and progression.
  • Committed to maintaining high standards and supporting the Head Chef.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Head Chef in running all aspects of kitchen operations.
  • Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and standards.
  • Assist with seasonal menu development using locally sourced ingredients.
  • Lead and motivate junior members of the kitchen team.
  • Uphold food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Manage ordering, stock control, and supplier relationships.
  • Help drive the kitchen forward as the team pushes for 3 AA Rosettes.
