Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Solutions Architect III. (The SA III) Sales Consultant role provides business consultation and recommendations for solutions to meet our clients business needs within an assigned geography. This role involves working closely with clients to define both business and technical requirements translating these into functional and technical implementations and proposing solutions that deliver business value. The position focuses on identifying and developing technology solutions using company products outsourced technology solutions and proprietary tools / techniques.

Areas of Expertise & Special Skills
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering with 8 years of experience or equivalent combination.
  • 6 years of experience in presales activity software solutions selling or consultation.
  • Extensive experience in software sales of enterprise-level applications ideally in the Retail industry.
  • Exceptional business acumen and authentic personality.
  • Entrepreneurial behavior and responsibility.
  • Self-starter with a commitment to success.
  • Excellent communication presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken) and the local language in the assigned geography.
  • Ability to sell to various stakeholders up to the C-level.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with SAP Retail Oracle Retail LS Retail and / or RetailX.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • MBA.
  • Experience selling Point of Sale (POS) applications in the assigned region.
  • Fluency in additional languages.
Key Responsibilities
  • Implement new methods and establish strategic approaches to penetrate the target market and identify potential customers.
  • Collaborate with clients and business partners to define business and technical requirements. Translate these requirements into functional and technical implementations proposing solutions that create business value.
  • Work with sales software & services principals and solution design & delivery teams to drive actions to win new business.
  • Deliver customer presentations and solution demonstrations prepare RFPs / RFIs responses and define the application and technical architecture structure to ensure that products and components meet objectives and performance goals.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Financial Impact
  • Grow software and services sales and revenue in emerging countries.
  • Increase sales and revenue with existing clients and win new business.

  • Effectively manage customer requirements and expectations.
