Job summary

A technology consulting firm in the UK is seeking a Solution Architect specialized in Red Hat OpenShift to design and implement containerized solutions for enterprise clients. You will guide customers in their cloud-native journey and lead deployment of OpenShift clusters. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in IT architecture with strong expertise in OpenShift, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, and cloud services. Excellent communication skills are a must.

The Role

• As a Solution Architect specialized in Red Hat OpenShift, you will design, implement, and optimize containerized solutions for enterprise clients. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through their cloud-native journey, ensuring scalability, security, and business alignment.

Your responsibilities :

Architect containerized applications using Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.

Define end-to-end architecture for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Collaborate with client teams to align technical solutions with business goals.

Lead deployment and configuration of OpenShift clusters.

Provide guidance on CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation.

Mentor teams on containerization best practices.

Essential skills / knowledge / experience :

Strong hands‑on experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Linux.

Proficiency in container orchestration, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.

Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Tekton), automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).

Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and security best practices.

Preferred: Red Hat Certified OpenShift Architect, RHCE.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Ability to work in fast-paced environments and lead cross-functional teams.

Desirable skills / knowledge / experience :
