Hiring Now: Band 8B Solicitor - NHS Legal Team (Remote/Hybrid) - £43.00 per hour

We are urgently seeking an experienced Band 8B Solicitor to support an NHS Trust Legal Team on a contract basis.

📍 Location: Salisbury area (Remote/Hybrid)

💷 Pay Rate: £43.00 per hour

📅 Duration: January - March 2026 (with potential extension)

🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Role Overview

You will provide expert in-house legal support across key areas including:

  • Clinical negligence (defendant)
  • Inquests & Coroner's Court preparation
  • Healthcare law (consent, capacity, Mental Health Act, data protection)
  • NHSR claims handling
  • Disclosure requests & regulatory matters
  • Supporting senior stakeholders and clinicians
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
  • Strong NHS, healthcare, clinical negligence, or inquest experience
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced legal team
  • Available to start January 2026
