Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen within this leading Leicestershire based manufacturing company who specialise in products for the Aerospace, Automotive, Rail and Oil and Gas industries for a Production Soldering Technician with soldering and assembly experience.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

Reporting into the Production Manager the Production Soldering Technician will be responsible for Building and Testing Assemblies on a range of existing electro-mechanical products. You will also be responsible for soldering to a good standard.

Qualifications

THE CANDIDATE

In order to succeed in the role of Production Technician you will need Soldering and assembly experience with an interest in engineering and technical products.

  • Good motor skills and the ability to do fine assembly
  • Ability to solder to a good standard
  • Ability to check for defects and identify and distinguish between colours
  • Experience in a production environment
  • Ability to read assembly drawings and wiring schedules
