Short Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer who is eager to contribute to our mission supporting music performance around the world. The ideal candidate should have a foundation in software engineering principles, experience in music performance, and ready to collaborate with our teams. The Software Engineer will be contributing to cross-platform mobile apps, single page web applications, enhancing our sheet music technology, our optical music recognition system, as well as designing robust software solutions related to the seamless integration of sheet music technologies.

Key responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design and development of cross-platform mobile applications, ensuring seamless integration with our proprietary Sheet Music Core engine.
  • Innovate and develop advanced features within our Sheet Music Core engine to enhance user experience and functionality.
  • Manage, maintain, and develop the Optical Music Recognition (OMR) system, improving its accuracy and efficiency.
  • Architect and design robust software solutions that meet the needs of our diverse user base, specially within the sheet music ecosystem of technologies.
  • Develop and implement strategies for integrating sheet music technologies into other products and solutions, ensuring cohesive operation.
  • Write, test, and maintain high-quality code across multiple platforms and languages to deliver reliable and efficient software products.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Ensure all developed solutions adhere to industry standards and best practices, conducting thorough testing, including unit testing, prior to deployment.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for all development projects and systems.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow best practices in modern web development.
  • Work from user stories and requirements provided by the product team.
  • 1-5 years of software engineering experience
  • Experience working with NodeJS, Typescript, and VueJS
  • Familiarity with Vuetify or other Vue component frameworks
  • Familiarity with SQL
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, data structures, and integrations
  • Solid understanding of version control (Git) and Agile methodologies
  • Ability to work independently and deliver functional solutions with minimal oversight
Preferred
  • Experience with CapacitorJS for mobile app packaging and delivery
  • Experience with Apple Developer and Google Play Developer platforms
  • Familiarity with CI/CD Pipelines
  • Experience with music performance and the ability to read sheet music
