Software Architect/Product Architect, Strong C# knowledge required, DDD, Home Based. £70000 - 80000 + benefits.

Happy to consider candidates who are currently lead engineers and want to secure their first Architecture role, along as you have been involved in Domain Driven Design and have a strong coding background in C#.

Market leading software company are seeking a Software Architect/Product Architect to join their team. Reporting to the Tribe Engineering Manager you will be responsible for the creation and review of High Level Designs and Low Level Designs. You must have come from a C# development background and will have excellent knowledge of the SDLC - including architecture. Ideally you will have worked as a Lead/Senior Developer with some architectural responsibility and now want to move into an architect role with very occasional coding.

Key responsibilities include -

• Create High Level Designs.
• Work closely with product and engineering management providing input on technical feasibility and cost.
• Work with the broader team to convey the technical architecture for new products and features.
• Identify technical debt and improvement opportunities.
• Build architectural frameworks.
• Drive towards an architecture that optimizes flexibility, reuse, scalability, performance, durability and availability.
• Help deal with critical issues.

To be considered for this you will have the following technical skills -

• C#/.net development background (with the ability to still write high quality code).
• Experience in solution and technical design of multi-tier distributed scaleable .net solutions in AWS (or Azure).
• Domain Driven Design.
• Strong experience of HLD and LLD's.
• Good architectural knowledge
• Excellent communication skills with experience working with all levels of stakeholders.

This is a great role for a candidate who is ready to step into an architect role or one who already has worked as an architect. Acting as an SME you will produce high quality HLD's and work across the business ensuring the software that is produced is robust and scaleable.

This role is home based with one day a month at the clients office (expenses will be paid if you are more than 60 miles from the office). Please note the salary range is £70000 - 80000 and will not go above this. Interviews soon.
