Sociology teacher

Location: Tunbridge wells

Start date: Flexible

Pay rate: 130 - 200 per day (dependant on role)

Contract: temporary with opportunity to become permanent

At term time teachers we are seeking a sociology teacher for an excellent school in Tunbridge Wells. The ideal candidate will be someone who is experienced, committed and is able to teach up to KS5, with a proven history off success. You will contribute actively to the wider school community, collaborating with colleagues to develop fresh ideas, share best practices, and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment. A passion for sociology alongside excellent classroom management and strong communication skills, are essential.

Key requirements
  • Have experience teaching sociology to students up to KS5.
  • Hold a QTS.
  • Have an enhanced DBS on the update system (or willing to apply for one).
  • Strong subject knowledge of the sociology curriculum.
  • Hold the right to work in the UK.
Your responsibilities
