Assessment Social Worker

£42.50 per hour

Stevenage, Hertfordshire

Locum Social Work

About the role:

An experienced Social Worker or Senior Practitioner to join the Hertsmere Assessment Team. This is a vital role focused on delivering timely, high-quality Children & Families assessments, supporting children in need, those at risk, and those subject to legal proceedings.

The team are currently working a mix from home and also access to touchdown zones for office working. Visits are taking place face to face.

Key Responsibilities:

• Timely C and F assessments
• Grounding in the Children Act
• S17 and S47s
• ICPC conferences
• CIN and CP care planning
• Court experience, care proceedings and private law s7 and s37 reports
• Any experience In age assessments (not essential)

Who we are looking for:

• Strong Assessment skills
• Experience within the above mentioned areas
• 3 years permanent experience
