Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year post-qualifying social work experience in statutory children's social care.
  • Successful completion of the ASYE programme (or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.

Job description

Liquid Personnel are looking for dedicated social workers to join our client in Oxfordshire in the Children’s Integrated Assessment Service!

This role is fast-paced and very rewarding, providing a wealth of professional development opportunities. Oxfordshire have recently been inspected by OFSTED and are pleased to have achieved ‘Good’ overall, and now continue to work to ensure children and families receive an Outstanding service.

The role:

  • You will complete comprehensive child and family assessments in partnership with children and their families
  • You will be part of a duty rotation of social workers receiving assessments as they are referred by our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub
  • You will be responsible for leading Section 47 child protection investigations where they are necessary, with the support of experienced permanent managers

Requirements:

  • A relevant Social Work qualification and current registration with Social Work England
  • Successful completion of the ASYE programme (or equivalent) and evidence of a minimum of 1 years post-qualifying social work experience in a statutory children’s social care role (3 years for Senior Practitioner application)
  • Knowledge and experience of undertaking Section 17 Child & Family Assessments and Section 47 Child Protection Investigations
  • Valid Right to Work
