Overview

Social Worker (Children's, Schools And Families) – Location: Camborne, Cornwall | Employment Type: Contract | Pay Rate: £25.22 LTD inclusive of holiday pay or £19.70 exclusive of holiday pay

Are you a qualified and experienced Social Worker looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and families? Cornwall Council is seeking a dedicated individual to join their Child Protection Team in Camborne for an initial 12-week contract, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities
  • Hold child protection cases and chair multi-agency core group meetings
  • Complete and present reports within the child protection arena using Signs of Safety approach
  • Undertake s.47 enquiries and complete child protection investigations and reports
  • Write court reports and present evidence in court
  • Cover duty work and have experience in child protection, court work, and child in care work
  • Knowledge/use of Signs of Safety and MOSAIC system is an advantage
  • Have own transport and be willing to travel across Cornwall
