Responsibilities
  • Collaborate within the Centralised Mental Health Social Work Team to ensure effective linkage with the clinical locality MINT Teams.
  • Deliver mental health and social care outcomes through structured interventions.
  • Conduct Care Act assessments, Safeguarding Adult S42.2 enquiries, and Mental Capacity Assessments.
  • Prepare Social Circumstances Tribunal reports, applying your sound knowledge of frameworks like the Care Act 2014 and Mental Health Act 1983.
  • Manage a complex caseload and lead statutory duties within the mental health social work team.
  • Provide supervisory duties for junior staff and oversee Duty on a rotational basis, offering mentorship and leadership.
