Within the context of UK legislation, our Amentum Social Value Lead(s) will support our clients to secure wider social, economic, and environmental benefits.

In this role, you'll provide leadership, direction, and advice to the collective social value activities of the client and its supply chains, including:

  • Developing Amentum social value offers.
  • Setting targets, monitoring progress, and ensuring client adoption of the UK Government and similar Social Value Models, including supporting client engagement in government reporting.
  • Advising on risks related to alternative models.
  • Interfacing with related areas such as greenhouse gas reduction and supply chain development.
Here's What You'll Need

Experience in leading UK-based social impact activities, applying and developing recognised best-practice methodologies within large organisations or seeking to grow in this area.

  • Membership of the Institute of Social Value (Social Value UK) or Social Value International (SVI), or the ability to demonstrate knowledge of social value principles.
  • Knowledge of social value metric setting, measurement, and reporting tools.
  • A commitment to high standards of behaviour necessary for project success: safety, wellbeing, ambition, diversity, equity, inclusion, empowerment, energy, trust, and respect.
  • Ability to build relationships at C-suite levels within both private and public sector organisations.
  • Good understanding of nuclear skills and environment, including supply chain considerations.
  • Experience working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders from private, public, and third sectors, including at C-suite level.
  • This position requires UK residency and the ability to travel across the UK.
