The Role
We’re looking for a Digital Marketing, Social & Community Manager to own and grow YEO’s digital presence across both our business and consumer products.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who lives and breathes social, has excellent taste, and understands how to turn complex ideas into clear, compelling content. You’ll be responsible for day‑to‑day execution, content creation, and community engagement, while consistently contributing fresh, on‑brand ideas.
You are proactive, detail‑driven, and have an “always on” mindset when it comes to spotting opportunities, trends and moments worth showing up for.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content
- Own YEO’s social channels end-to-end (planning, posting, optimisation, reporting).
- Create on‑brand, engaging content across LinkedIn, Instagram, X and emerging channels.
- Shoot and edit content (phone‑first is fine, taste and execution matter more than kit).
- Translate complex technology and privacy concepts into simple, human stories.
- Develop content ideas for both B2B and consumer audiences.
Email Marketing
- Plan and execute email campaigns (product updates, thought leadership, community updates).
- Write clear, concise, on‑brand copy that drives engagement.
- Maintain consistency in tone, messaging and visual identity.
Community & Engagement
- Build and nurture YEO’s community across social channels.
- Respond to comments, messages and mentions in a timely, thoughtful way.
- Proactively engage with relevant conversations, partners and industry voices.
Brand & Quality Control
- Be a guardian of the YEO brand across all digital touchpoints.
- Ensure close attention to detail in copy, visuals, formatting and scheduling.
- Spot inconsistencies and fix them before they go live.
Ideas & Innovation
- Constantly bring new content ideas, formats and campaign concepts.
- Stay on top of social trends, platform changes and best practices and know what not to follow.
- Help evolve YEO’s digital presence as the brand and product grow.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing social media for brands (B2B, tech or consumer experience is a strong plus).
- Excellent attention to detail — you notice the small things others miss.
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
- Confident shooting and editing content for social.
- Deep understanding of how different platforms work and how audiences behave.
- Self‑starter with an “always on” mindset and genuine curiosity.
- Calm, organised and reliable.
- Comfortable working closely with founders and cross‑functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience in tech, privacy, security or regulated industries.
- Experience managing both business and consumer audiences.
- Familiarity with analytics, reporting and performance optimisation.
