Job description

We are looking for a dynamic Social Media Content Creator, with a passion for fitness events, to grow the personal brand of an entrepreneurial athlete and help them launch their first performance‑based fitness community. This individual has already secured 5–6 ongoing brand partnerships and is passionate about combining performance, community and in‑person training experiences.

The newest concept they've launched (just five weeks ago!) is attracting 50+ participants per session and the long‑term goal is to move towards a monthly membership model offering structured, high‑performance training with progression. This places the brand in a niche between casual social fitness groups and elite coaching.

To support this growth phase, the founder needs a creative storyteller to document the journey. Not just a videographer – this role is for someone who can own content strategy, bring narrative to life, and help amplify the brand’s voice.

The Role:

Salary: £19,500 (£32,500 full‑time equivalent), option to increase to £21,000 after probation.

Contract: Part‑time (3 days/week) with potential to expand to full‑time.

Location: Battersea, London (Hybrid – office‑based at least 2 of 3 days).

Perks: Dynamic, creative working environment in a co‑working space with gym, showers, café amenities and exposure to brand partnerships, content diversification, and community growth.

Reporting to: The Founder.

Responsibilities:
  • Co‑develop and execute a social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms – aligned with growth, engagement and membership goals – for this athlete’s personal brand and the performance fitness community.
  • Write scripts, storyboards, captions, and create narrative‑driven content.
  • Shoot and edit video (short‑form, behind‑the‑scenes, event capture).
  • Attend sessions, activations, training events and other brand touchpoints to collect content in real time.
  • Manage a content calendar that balances planned and reactive content.
  • Monitor analytics and adjust strategy based on data.
  • Engage with the community online (DMs, comments, tags) and support influencer/partnership activations.
  • Assist with operational needs of events and community initiatives.
  • Travel occasionally (e.g. fitness events, competitions) to capture content on location.
The Person:
  • 1–3 years of experience in social media, content, digital marketing or agency background.
  • Strong scriptwriting, storytelling and copywriting ability.
  • Proficiency in video creation: shooting, editing and producing both polished and candid content.
  • Passion for fitness, wellbeing and performance‑driven communities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, adaptable and able to operate in a fast‑changing environment.
  • Based in London, with ability to attend the Battersea office at least 2 days/week.
  • Bonus: experience with events, activations or community engagement.

Please submit your CV and a portfolio or examples of content you’ve created (video links, social campaigns, scripts). We are looking for candidates who live and breathe fitness, storytelling and social media, and who are excited to grow a brand from the ground up.
