Social Media & Community Coordinator

Location: Newcastle City Centre (Please be aware that due to the site's location, parking is not available.)

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 depending on experience

Working Pattern: Full Time – 40 hours per week

Responsibilities
  • Manage & Update: Keep the website, social media channels and app fresh with engaging content.
  • Create Marketing Materials: Produce eye‑catching blog posts, articles, logos and infographics that reflect the brand.
  • Build Relationships: Forge strong connections with occupiers and the wider community to drive participation and gather valuable feedback.
  • Engage Local Businesses: Collaborate with local enterprises to secure exciting offers and discounts for occupiers, sharing these through the company app.
  • Curate Events: Develop and manage a vibrant events calendar, including initiatives for volunteers, local charities and wellbeing‑focused activities.
  • Report on Activities: Provide monthly reports on community engagement and activities to clients.
  • Network & Collaborate: Attend meetings and networking events to enhance community relationships and communication strategies.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years in event management and community engagement.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful in‑person and virtual events.
  • Self‑starter who thinks outside the box and solves problems efficiently.
