Respite Services at Montclaire (Blackwood) and Ty-Gwilym (Caerphilly) are seeking casual Social Care Workers. We provide short-term breaks for individuals with physical and learning disabilities, encouraging choice, community presence, and personal development. You\'ll help individuals explore new experiences, build social skills, and form friendships in a supportive environment. If you\'re committed to empowering others and making a meaningful impact, we\'d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support across the organization and assist individuals to explore new experiences, build social skills, and form friendships in a supportive environment.
  • Support individuals during short-term breaks for physical and learning disabilities at Montclaire (Blackwood) and Ty-Gwilym (Caerphilly).
Requirements
  • Requirement to achieve a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care within an agreed timescale.
  • An understanding of the principles that underpin a quality care environment i.e. Privacy, dignity, respect, choice, independence and rights.
  • Experience with people who require support and assistance with all aspects of personal care, daily living and social skills.
  • Ability to work shifts on a rota basis, and work flexibly, including weekends, bank holidays and sleep in duties.
