Sheet Metal Worker / Structural Fitter - Aviation

Mara Recruit is currently hiring a SMW / Structural Fitter for one of our Aerospace clients based in Essex.

We are seeking an experienced and competent Structural Technician to work on components such as flight control surfaces, engine inlets, fan cowls, thrust reversers, landing gear, and PAX doors.

Contract Details
  • Start: Immediate
  • Duration: 6 - 12 Month Contracts
  • Rate: £27 per hour (Outside IR35)
  • Payment: Weekly via limited company / umbrella
  • Hours: 40-60 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
  • Fabrication and installation of flush repair doublers to inlet and flight control leading edge skins.
  • Replacement of inlet lip skin segments and flight control surface skin panels.
  • Removal and replacement of sub-assemblies – riveted or bolted.
  • Be fully conversant with all technical data, SRM, CMM, etc.
