Job Title: Skills Coach – Level 7 Senior Leadership
Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum
Location: Remote, with occasional travel
Start Date: Immediate
Hours: Full-time and part-time available (part-time: 3 days per week)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Skills Coach to support learners undertaking the Level 7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward‑thinking training provider committed to delivering high‑quality apprenticeship programmes and developing future senior leaders. The role may also include supporting learners on the Operational Manager and Team Leader apprenticeship pathways.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high‑quality coaching to apprentices working towards Level 7 standards
- Facilitate interactive workshop sessions, group discussions, and practical activities to enhance learning and engagement
- Support learners to develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to succeed in their programmes
- Prepare learners for End‑Point Assessment (EPA) through tailored learning plans, constructive feedback, and structured progress reviews
- Monitor learner progress and provide regular reports to internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with ESFA, Skills England, and internal quality standards
- Develop and adapt learning materials to meet individual learner needs, organisational requirements, and evolving apprenticeship standards
- Collaborate with colleagues across training, coaching, and compliance teams to share best practice and ensure a consistent, high‑quality learner experience
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, feedback loops, and quality assurance processes to enhance programme delivery
- Provide pastoral support and guidance where required, motivating learners and helping them overcome challenges to achieve their full potential
- Support employer engagement activities, providing advice and guidance on apprenticeship delivery, learning outcomes, and workplace integration
Requirements
- Experience coaching, training, or mentoring at a senior or leadership level
- Strong understanding of the Level 7 Senior Leader standard or similar higher‑level apprenticeship programmes
- A recognised teaching, assessing, or coaching qualification (e.g., CAVA, TAQA, AET, Assessor Coach L4, or equivalent)
- Level 5 qualification or above in Management or Senior Leadership
- Vocational competence and practical experience within senior leadership
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with learners
- A genuine passion for supporting learner development and achieving high success rates
