Qualifications

  • Experience in electrical and mechanical engineering, preferably in the water/wastewater industry.
  • Ability to understand and work to engineering drawings.
  • Physically fit and experienced in confined space working.

Responsibilities

  • Commuting to the office in Maidstone as required.

Job description

A vacancy has arisen for a mechanical technician to perform the on-site installation, service and refurbishment of all equipment associated with our core business of penstocks, valves, and actuators, as well as other products and services as required by the company. This role covers the south with frequent commuting to our office in Maidstone.

Qualifications
  • Experience in electrical and mechanical engineering, preferably in the water/wastewater industry.
  • Ability to understand and work to engineering drawings.
  • IT literate.
  • Physically fit.
  • Experienced in confined space working.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel across the UK and have overnight stays, in line with the needs of the company, its workload and customers.
  • Full driving licence.
