Site Supervisor (Substations) – Berkshire

TGRC is actively seeking a skilled Site Supervisor to oversee substations projects in the dynamic region of Berkshire. This 12-month contract offers a day rate of £375 and is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a solid background in transmission and distribution projects. About the Role

As a Site Supervisor at our substations in Berkshire, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring project timelines and safety standards are met. You will work closely with a team of engineers and technicians to ensure that all aspects of the substation's construction and maintenance are executed efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operational Management: Supervise and coordinate all site activities, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Safety Oversight: Implement and monitor strict health and safety protocols on-site, conducting regular safety audits and ensuring all personnel adhere to safety guidelines.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of technical staff, fostering a collaborative work environment and ensuring staff are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
• Project Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project progress, resources, and issues, providing regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
• Problem Resolution: Quickly address and resolve any technical or logistical issues that arise on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to project schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least 2 years of experience supervising substations or related transmission and distribution projects.
• Education: Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Certifications: Must possess all relevant Health & Safety (H&S) tickets.
