Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Are you an experienced Site Supervisor with a strong background in mechanical systems and project management? We’re looking for a proactive leader to oversee operations at a static site in London, working with our new client, The Metropolitan Police.

You will supervise operatives, ensuring safety protocols, quality standards, and proper documentation are upheld. You’ll manage project timelines and communicate progress clearly with clients and subcontractors. Materials and resources must meet technical specifications and be maintained efficiently to control costs. Additionally, you’ll oversee facility upkeep, maintain accurate records, and participate in the callout rota with a flexible approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage site operatives, ensuring high standards and compliance.
  • Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and quality checks.
  • Oversee project progress, milestones, and schedules.
  • Ensure all materials and work meet technical and quality specs.
  • Maintain site cleanliness, plant upkeep, and accurate records.
  • Manage resources efficiently to reduce costs.
  • Be part of the callout rota for first escalation.

What You’ll Need:

  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, including IOSH/NEBOSH.
  • SMSTS Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • Understanding of CDM Regulations.
  • Proven experience managing full project lifecycles.
  • Expertise in mechanical systems and infrastructure.
  • Ability to lead teams and drive projects forward.
  • Experience with PPM delivery, reactive tasks, and shutdown planning.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
