Hours: 9am - 5.30pm (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £28000 - £35000, depending on experience

We are seeking an experienced Site Services Technician to join a dynamic team responsible for maintaining and supporting site facilities and utilities. This role involves both planned and reactive maintenance, contractor coordination and participation in improvement projects to ensure smooth and safe site operations.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on site services (HVAC, electrical, water systems, compressed air, waste management)
  • Provide first‑line technical support for equipment and infrastructure issues
  • Carry out minor building repairs and general maintenance tasks
  • Respond to service requests via the maintenance system
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
  • Supervise external contractors and ensure adherence to site policies
  • Contribute to energy efficiency and sustainability projects
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
  • Assist with emergency procedures, including fire alarm testing and drills
Requirements
  • 2–5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Relevant technical qualification (e.g., NVQ, City and Guilds, ONC/HNC in Electrical, Mechanical, or Facilities Engineering)
  • Strong knowledge of building services systems (electrical, HVAC, water treatment, compressed air)
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS/CAFM)
  • Working knowledge of health and safety regulations (PUWER, COSHH, LOLER)
  • Desirable: Electrical qualifications (18th Edition), boiler operation, HVAC certification
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills, proactive approach and ability to work under pressure
  • Flexibility to work shifts, on‑call or weekends if required
