A local council in Weymouth is looking for a reliable Site Manager to oversee security, safety, and maintenance of the school premises. The role involves handling emergencies, managing cleaning teams, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have relevant DIY skills, a good standard of education, and a commitment to safeguarding children. This position offers 37.5 hours per week with 25 days of holiday during school holidays.
37.5 hours per week. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, reliable, multi-skilled and organised Site Manager to join our Federation. You will be responsible for the day-to-day security, safety, cleanliness and general maintenance of the school. This role is varied and includes all aspects of premises management as well as completion of Health & Safety compliance and line management of the cleaning teams. A comprehensive range of DIY skills such as routine painting and decorating, gardening, general maintenance and repairs will also be part of the role.
Hours of work are 37.5 per week, with a working pattern to be negotiated with the successful candidate. 25 days of holiday to be taken during school holiday periods.
