About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a variety of projects within the social housing sector, including internal refurbishments, external works, and retrofit schemes. This is a hands-on role requiring excellent organisational skills, strong leadership, and the ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day site operations across internal, external, and retrofit projects.
  • Ensure health & safety, compliance, and quality standards are met at all times.
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and direct labour.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, budget, and programme targets.
  • Resolve on-site issues quickly and effectively.
  • Carry out site inspections and ensure snagging and handover are completed to client satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within the social housing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of internal refurbishments, external works, and retrofit projects.
  • Up-to-date SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid qualifications.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in occupied housing, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Full UK driving licence
