We’re working on behalf of a reputable national fit‑out contractor who is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to support ongoing retail unit fit‑out projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑track environments and is open to travelling from project to project as part of a long‑term freelance opportunity.

The Role

You’ll take full responsibility for managing day‑to‑day site operations on retail fit‑outs, ensuring safety, quality, and programme deadlines are always achieved. Each project varies in location, giving the right person consistent work and the chance to move seamlessly from one site to the next.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all on‑site activities for retail fit‑out schemes
• Oversee subcontractors and ensure works are delivered to specification
• Maintain strict health & safety compliance
• Conduct inductions, toolbox talks, and daily briefings
• Programme coordination and site scheduling
• Daily reporting and site documentation management
• Client and project team communication

About You

• Proven background as a Site Manager on retail or fast‑track fit‑out projects
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Able to work autonomously and drive projects forward
• Must hold SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
