Freelance Construction Site Manager – Commercial Fit Out (CAT A)
Duration: 6 Weeks
Start Date: 19th January
Hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm
Project Type: Commercial CAT A Fit Out

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Construction Site Manager to oversee a 6‑week commercial CAT A fit‑out project on behalf of our client.

This is a short‑term contract role, ideal for a hands‑on Site Manager with strong commercial fit‑out experience who can hit the ground running.

Responsibilities
  • Day‑to‑day management of site operations
  • Coordinating subcontractors and trades
  • Ensuring works are delivered on programme and to a high standard
  • Maintaining health & safety compliance on site
  • Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks, and progress reporting
  • Liaising with the project team and client representatives
Requirements
  • Proven experience managing commercial CAT A fit‑out projects
  • SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold preferred), and First Aid
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage short‑term programmes efficiently
